FLO – Flexible Liquid Output (Varia x Kurasu Kyoto)

Redefining Manual Coffee Brewing

The FLO – Flexible Liquid Output (Varia x Kurasu Kyoto) is a revolutionary manual coffee brewer developed through a collaboration between Varia and Kurasu Kyoto. Designed for coffee enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting with extraction, the FLO Brewer introduces an interchangeable flow screen system that provides exceptional control over water flow and brewing dynamics.

Unlike traditional pour-over brewers with a fixed base design, the FLO Brewer allows you to change the extraction characteristics simply by swapping the precision-engineered FLO Screens. This innovative approach enables you to tailor your brew to different coffee origins, roast levels, and flavour preferences without changing your grinder or brewing equipment.

Flexible Brewing, Exceptional Results

The FLO Brewer is compatible with interchangeable Fast 1, Medium 2, Slow 2, and Slow 3 flow screens (sold separately), allowing you to fine-tune extraction for brighter, cleaner cups or richer, fuller-bodied brews. Combined with the matching FLO filter papers, it creates a highly adaptable brewing system capable of delivering consistent, repeatable results.

Its flat-bottom brewing geometry promotes even water distribution and balanced extraction, helping maximise sweetness, clarity, and complexity across a wide variety of specialty coffees.

Designed for Everyday Brewing

Manufactured from premium materials with a clean minimalist aesthetic, the FLO Brewer is equally suited to home coffee enthusiasts and professional café environments. Its durable construction, precision engineering, and thoughtful design make it an ideal brewer for daily use while offering endless opportunities to refine your brewing technique.

Why You’ll Love It

The FLO – Flexible Liquid Output Brewer offers a unique approach to pour-over coffee by allowing you to customise extraction through interchangeable flow screens.
